Apps

Ahhhhhhh apps. They’re a way of life. But they can be a curse. here are some of the apps that i have deleted.

1.Wrestle Jump

I deleted this app because nobody played it anymore. I thought it was a fun game but it didn’t have enough features. It could have had a campaign, three player, something to make it longer. I like this game, but it unfortunately it didn’t have enough to offer. If it had more things I would have kept it.

2. Quisr

This game had  plenty of potential, but it didn’t use it. It didn’t have categories or anything. Only if this app added many more features i might have kept it. Lastly, it got boring REALLY fast. Without features, a game cannot last.

3. Zen Pinball

This game is great because it almost feels like you are actually playing pinball. With great mechanics, this game could go far. The only reason it is small is because you have to pay for other machines. This really sucks because you are always playing one level. That is why I deleted this app.

4. Clumsy Ninja

This game was A LOT of fun for the first few days. You would throw around this rag doll ninja and mess with him which was much fun. But the game just kept having the same thing over and over and over and over. I would suggest it for a few days, but it couldn’t last for two weeks.

5.Star Wars: Tiny Death Star

This game is great fun, great mechanics, and ENDLESS GAME PLAY. But this game IS THE SAME AS TINY TOWER! It just changed the names and graphics of the stores! I wish they would have changed the whole game play! That is why I HATE this app.

These are some apps I am disappointed in, so please comment whats your least favorite app and why.

Favorite Place In Austin: Top Golf!

Top Golf is a driving range with a twist. I think it is one of the best places to visit in Austin and here are some reasons why.

First off, the twist is that it is a game. It is great for a whole family, even if they don’t play golf. The goal is to hit the golf ball into one of these giant holes and score points. You may think its simple, but its harder than you think. All the holes are spread out and are different sizes ( usually the closer they are the closer and less points they are.) But its good for the kids because if you hit it in the center of a closer hole, it most likely will be worth more points than a far one in the corner. Lastly, if you REALLY don’t want to play, there are x-box games inside. That is why this place is great.

Secondly, its not just golf, its also is a restaurant. While you are playing, waiters serve you food. Top Golf offers pizzas, hamburgers, wings, and more! Its not just that they serve food, the food is actually good. I had a flat bread sausage pizza, and it was really good. Lastly, the greatest part about it is the wait. On spring break, I went to Top Golf at 12:30 PM, and there was no wait if you have a membership card. But if you need a membership card, it was a 5 minute wait. That makes Top Golf a Terrific Place.

Top Golf is a great place to spend a few hours at, I personally think it is one of the best places in Austin. If you don’t like this place, then there is something wrong with you.

The Lair

Cold, dark wind whistles through the deep,  dark cave, reeking of death. Flickering candles there bringing warmth, but not enough. It seems cold and lonely, but I can sense something else in this labyrinth, something evil and cruel, I move onwards to a endless dark lake, the cold water climbing up to my toes–sending a shock up my body. In the distance I see a suited figure, looking still, “is it dead” I think to myself. I better check it out. As I board the rickety old boat, a silver and gold organ plays dreadful music, blasting my ears. The figure slowly walks towards me smiling, like he was happy to see me, but who was this thing? How does it know me? Suddenly, the boat disappears under my feet, and I start to sink. I hear a horrific maniacal laugh behind me, excited for me to die. My life flashes by me, and I fall into an eternal sleep.
